A Few Words From Us...

"Hello, my name is Heather Ouellette I am a married mother with 4 children. All aged between 9 and 20. I started working at the Center when it was known as North Conway Daycare Center. I was an assistant  and worked my way up to preschool teachers. I am a Math class way from my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I took over as Director 3 years ago and have been apart of the great changes to becoming Vaughan Learning Center. In my spare time when I'm not working I have a love for the outdoors. I spend much of my time in my gardens during the summer and on snowshoes in the winter. I love children and all of the wonder they are still full of. "

"Hi! My name is Kali Rodger and after working at Vaughan Learning Center for the last 5 years, I am taking over as the Director! I have been working in the Early Childcare field for eight years and I am currently working on my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I have four children, Kyleigh (9), Brooklyn (5), Brody (4) and Kayden (1). All of my children have attended VLC! In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach, ocean, hiking and going on adventures with my children. As the director I am looking forward to continuing to work with the families, children and staff."

"My name is Linda Mallett and I am the Lead Teacher in the Big Tots classroom.  I have 23 plus years of experience in childcare.  Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, jigsaw puzzles, playing card games and spending time with family and friends.  I really love working at VLC because it is a close knit community and seeing the children learn is really amazing."

"Hello my name is Kelsey Dunn. This is my first year working at Vaughan Learning Center; I've had however, many years of early childhood experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, I've worked at Story Land for 5 summers and I have 3 nieces and nephews. I am very excited to be able to work at Vaughan Learning Center and seeing all the children's growth as with my own growth. I strongly believe that we learn from the children as they learn from us."

"Hello, my name is Samantha and I'm an assistant teacher in the Little Tot classroom at Vaughan. I'm currently enrolled and taking Early Childhood Education classes and working my way to another degree. I have a background in the medical field and love working with children. I have two children of my own and look forward to meeting you!"

"My name is Katherine Holtby, and I am an assistant teacher at Vaughan. I have been at the center for almost a year but I have taken care of my nephews since they were babies.

I love to to read, go to the beach, I love watching the New York Yankees and Boston Bruins. I have 9 nephews all together so there is always something going on with one of them to help keep me busy.

I love that no day at Vaughan is ever the same, the kids always have different questions, new games to play, and no matter what they always make me smile."

"My name is Kayla Blodgett, and I am the school age teacher. I have been involved with young children off and on for the last 14 years starting when I was involved with Little Eagles. When I am not at VLC I work at the middle school in Conway. The school age program at VLC let’s kids have a fun, safe summer exploring North Conway and taking a few field trips to other spots in NH. When not working, I spend time reading, going to the ocean, and taking my daughter to her many activities."

"Anne Moothart, Certified Lead Preschool Teacher, experienced in providing multiple learning opportunities while being attentive to the children's physical, emotional, and social needs in a safe, welcoming, fun atmosphere."

" Hello, my name is Molly and I’m so excited for this school year! I have worked with children since I was a child myself. I actually volunteered right here at VLC everyday after aging out of the program and until I could become staff. I have 9 early childhood college credits and look forward to getting more as time goes on. Feel free to come say Hi in preschool!"

"Hi my name is LeeAnn and I am one of the lead infant teachers. I have been working in child care for 4 years now. I previously was working at Robert Frost Chater school as a first/second grade assistant teacher. I have 1 daughter Aliza who is 6 and she has attended VLC since she was 1 1/2. In my spare time we love going to the beach, going on hikes and other adventures with my girl. Along with watching movies and snuggling right up. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of the kids here and cant wait to watch them grow together."

“Hello everyone! My name is Natalie and I am new to the Vaughan Learning Center family! I will be in the Infant Room! I am a few courses away from receiving my Associates Degree in Teacher Education. I have a one year old kiddo of my own named Jameson. In our free time we love playing outside, cuddling up and reading stories and dancing around the to music! I can’t wait to meet all of the kiddos and all of the parents as well!”
